Olga Valentinovna Korbut (born 16 May 1955 in Grodno, Byelorussian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Soviet gymnast and a four time Olympic gold medalist.

Interesting Fact

Olga Korbut was the first ever woman to perform a remarkable gymnastics move called a Korbut Flip. The move was invented during her training on uneven bars for the Munich 1972 Summer Olympics: Olga executed the skill from a stand on the high bar, jumping backwards into the air, doing a backflip and regrasping the same bar. When the movement was perfromed in the USA, many clubs were named after Korbut.

If gymnastics didn't exist, I would have to invent it myself, as I feel so united with this sport.
