Benefits of exercise

Stretching of the pectoralis minor on FISIO hinges.

A well-stretched pectoralis minor muscle helps to stabilize the shoulder and ensures its movement down and forward. Also, the flexible pectoralis minor muscle helps to expand the chest during deep breathing and plays a major role in maintaining posture. Shortening of this muscle can make it difficult to perform certain movements, such as raising your arms above your head or bringing your arms behind your back. A spasmodic pectoral muscle leads to stooping due to a displacement of the shoulder plane.

Performing this loop exercise helps to stretch the pectoral muscle as much as possible by fixing the arm with loops.
