Benefits of exercise

The level 3 peak on the FISIO functional hinges is performed with the fixation of one leg.

This exercise works out the rectus abdominis, obliques and squared lumbar muscles. Holding the free leg adds stress to the core muscles and trains the balance of the whole body. The inverted position relieves the load on the legs and relaxes the muscles. Blood circulation improves, swelling decreases. 

It is believed that the inverted position reduces nervous tension, stress and anxiety.
